its funny how psychology is like a science with million of people studying it and its super important for our society.
and yet all the research that comes out of psychologists is just 90% guesswork and pushing an agenda to torture people not conforming to the mold of society or mentally ill :
conversion therapy, shock therapy, chemical straightjacket, depression/adhd/schysophrenia meds that are 10% effective and have worse side effecs than eating uranium. dehumanisation belitteling and infantilisation of mentall ill people and neurodivegent people. stripping people of their autonomy and freedom because "they're a danger to themselves and other"
really being a psychologist today is like being from the inquisition, just free card to do anything to unproductive drones of this capitalist society.
@Stellar unproductive participants are a cancer, parasite, or generally disfunctional cell to the organismic society, and psychologists are a type of white blood cell attempting to find and contain/eliminate/restart it for the benefit of the organism
sometimes, the problem is found where there is no problem, an allergic reaction, sometimes the reaction is so strong that it will use more resources to stop the offending cells or chemicals, than wouldve been lost in sum if the worthless cell or chemical had been allowed it's due course.
an organism/society kept too clean, too sterile, too autistically strictly rule and excel number spreadsheet oriented, will have many more failing and catastrophic allergic reactions to all the weird mystery chemicals and cells that appear out of nowhere by nature, and to keep the sterile status quo, strong white blood cells with extreme over-prejudice are used in the attempt. often causing more harm than benefit, if any benefit.
@SuperDicq baldurs gate could really be a visual novel with all the stuff there is, i have like 30 hours in my game and i'm not at act 2 yet, i like reading and talking to everyone
@Stellar I guess in Baldurs Gate it probably makes a bit more sense because the point of the game is to be extensive as a real TTRPG where you can also do all these things.
