Iโve been using Mullvad for the past few months. Have not had many issues with it aside from the 5 device limit and the removal of port forwarding. Iโm currently looking at Private Internet Access as a potential replacement. It looks like it offers 10 device limit and port forwarding included with the price....
I have been using NordVPN since forever to be honest.
Never had any problem (servers always up and good speed too), but people say that it is very expensive in comparison with other VPN providers, so I donโt know.
Two years ago I've tried my hand at cracking something, it's quite an unknown game, Arena Wars was the name. I always found it fun to take it for a spin, try out a match or two, then forget about it for a couple months....
I am afraid on iOS there are no easy work around, because you are not allowed to install app out of the App Store (I heard iOS 17 will have this feature).
However, you can use AltStore, is a program (Mac and Windows, no Linux if I am not mistaken) that allow you to side load 3 apps on you iPhone/iPad, but you will need to resign them every week to keep them working.
Having said that, as an iPadOS user, I can say that iTorrent is probably the best client to download torrents in your apple devices.
You can have a look at GitHub for more information. Sadly, the last update was on Sept 2020, but it stills work fine for me on my iPad Mini 5.
Good luck ๐
EDIT: I am sorry, do you want something to manage your torrents from your iPhone? If so, sorry, I completely missread your request.
I think you can find an app you can install with AltStore.
Obviously this is a long shot but is there any way to get game pass working on Linux? I realise most of the games can be played through steam but it is a good way to try out new games cheaply
Hi all, just purchased a pretty much brand-new deck (used for 2hrs) from eBay. I've also got the receipt. Is there anything I should be aware of? It was only purchased last month, will valve honour any warranty?...
I don't live in the US, so my ISP doesn't really seem to care what I torrent, but the megathread vehemently recommends to always use one. Since VPNs aren't cheap and I'm on a strict budget (wouldn't pirate otherwise), is it really that dangerous to torrent without one?
Looked through the docs a bit and it's not really clear to me: I'm posting this on lemmy.ca, does that mean only that instance knows my IP? Or does every instance it federates with get my ip alongside this post?...
Hey everyone! I was facing an issue with Hogwarts Legacy, so I decided to check out what the sub on reddit had (basically the game crashes right when the warning message comes up at the start). I know about the protest and stuff, and I could access a few posts from cached pages via google. Not all posts were cached, and they...

Is a VPN necessary for torrenting?
