Thanks, everyone, for your feedback on our recent voter affirmation email to members. We will take your suggestions into account, and make things clearer where possible. It will take a little time to fix the more time-consuming things because our staff is currently in GO mode for PyCon US! Thank you for your patience. (1/3)
If you were expecting to get an email from us about voter affirmation and you didn't, please check your old alias and/or spam folder. If you still don't see anything, email us and we'll look into it.
If you are a Contributing or Managing member, please create an account on psfmember.org and send us an email so we can merge your account with our record of your membership.

The topic came up, and only one person out of eight (including your next PyCon US Chair) didn't get one. I didn't have it either. We also looked on the schedule and didn't see it?
@webology The good news is that there are 31 seats still available for the Members Lunch. The steps to add it to your registration are a little fiddly, unfortunately, which we hope to improve for next time.
@kjaymiller Thank you for highlighting this need for transparency! Based on this we are putting together a blog post covering the thoughtful work our staff put in and how this year's process went. We will share a link soon 💛
@kjaymiller@pycon Sorry for the delay- this got lost in the shuffle with a couple of staff members being out sick and all the PyCon US organizing! The Travel Grant Team doesn’t include the value of the ticket in the grant amount line for a few reasons:
@wraptile we launched this one early November of 2023- so it's a couple months old- but we want to make sure we get enough respondents 📈 thank you for participating!
Many responses to the Python Developers Survey 2023 are partial 🧐 What stopped you from finishing the survey? Let us know in the comments so we can improve for next year 👇 #python
Contribute to the improvement of the Python community by participating in the Python Developers Survey 2023! We want to know how you use Python 🐍🧐 #python
That said, we'll continue assessing the situation (air flow, testing feasibility, etc) and also tracking feedback, and we'll see if testing, or masking just in talks rooms, or other changes make sense for next year.
Thanks for registering & sharing the event, and we're looking forward to seeing you there.
@mkennedy@LauraLangdon@gpshead@webology Thank you Michael! That suggestion is noted and appreciated (and definitely will be in the menu of options we consider for next year's policy.)
