@Tusky I think I'm seeing a bug relating to home timeline position in Tusky Test 25.2-78b1fcb9
Steps to repro:
Scroll down in home timeline
Find a post with a "see more" due to being long
Tap the expand button
The timeline scrolls back up towards the top, but not all the way up, so the post I expanded is no longer in view
I think it might also be happening when I navigate back to the timeline after tapping into a post's view? Not sure about that one being super reproducible.
Wooo I just noticed that @Tusky fixed the annoying behaviour where search terms are cleared if you switch between types of search! Thank you to whoever sorted that 😁 it was literally the only thing I didn't like about the app
Hi! I am having a problem when I write long posts: when a certain length is surpassed, the text is not shown in the edit window, even if I can it see the saved draft. Any idea? Thanks! #tusky
@severianx Hi again! What it is happening to you seem a bug that was discovered in Android 8. this version can crash on some input, and the workaround used to solve it makes longer texts dissapear. It is a side effect from this.
So it is not on our side, sorry this is happening to you.
Hi @Tusky! Why does my Start tab in #Tusky 25.2 (Android) give an error (An error has occurred) for this account? It works fine in the webversion, other tabs are working as well and re-adding the account to the app doesn't help. It started about a week ago with not updating the Start tab anymore with newest toots. My other account @josklever works fine.
CC: @mbootsman (server admin) in case there's some error log.

@wmd Hi again! Sorry, but as in the new version the settings were moved to account preferences from general preferences, so this is an expected behaviour of Tusky: this particular option has to be selected again after the updated, like you did.
@Cas_33 Hi again! We have checked the logs from Google Play and the new version seems very stable, so to study what is happening we would need more information.
Could you please send us the tracktrace (well, a bug report) to see what is happening with Tusky in you case. Obtaining it is a very easy process, as you can see here 👇
@martinmuc@ErikUden : Mir ist grad aufgefallen, daß im #TroetCafe ein Fehler kommt, wenn man die Seite mit den Ankündigungen aufruft (nutze Tusky unter entgoogeltem Android).
@Wetterhexe the process to make new versions avaliable in F-Droid takes a bit longer than in Google Play, but should be avalilable in a few days, sorry for the inconvenience!
