But so does teenage sex carry the risks of teenage pregnancy, and so we have an obligation to children to teach them how to practice safe sex....
I would have played no games or learnt adobe software while I was a kid if I haven’t pirated it.
I started playing some of my all time favorite games pirated, because my parents didn’t want to spend money on videogames and I had no credit card as a kid. Now, however, I purchased them all. (alr well, not all I’m still not rich and I didn’t deem all of them worth the money thrown out donated. Like Sims4, I’m glad I tried it, but it costs like (Steam says all DLCs are:) 1234.22 eur, insanity)
Today in a Privacy community a post about YouTube. No word about privacy but all about which software or settings are needed to watch videos and the money needed to host videos. It made me wonder whether some of you can lead a meaningful life without YouTube. Or will a cold turkey bring the worst out of you ?
It’s a classic techno song that might be described as EuroTrance. I think I’ve heard the song but I’m asking for a friend. It’s possible it might be an instance of the Mandela effect because the song can’t be found anywhere.

I, am trying to understand if I have habits. My definition of a habit is: “Something that you do often and regularly, sometimes without knowing that you are doing it” from the Harvard Dictionary...
My idea is something like showering, or locking your door/car. You can find yourself questioning it: did I wash my X? Did I lock my front door? You did it because it’s a “force of habit”.
Afaik sqrt only returns positive numbers, but if you’re searching for X you should do more logic, as both -3 and 3 squared is 9, but sqrt(9) is just 3.
If I’m wrong please correct me, caz I don’t really know how to properly write this down in a proof, so I might be wrong here. :p

I can’t agree with you more. I have save posts, and niche subs (but I’m not active, I’d just hate to lose them). And on Lemmy I’ve never seen a thread with deleted comments only. There are less comments here, less people, but quality people.
My only problem is that all and every topic will be about politics or linux. While I’m all for being stuck in a little linux bubble, I hate the politics here. Some dislike the linux topics as well.
I miss niche communities, but the switch was well worth it.
Sorry for necroposting, but can I bulk download a custom playlist from soulseek? I understand it as a semi-private torrent tracker, so I’m guessing I’ll have to seed back every single music (even if it’s not forced I still will). That’ll make it even more annoying, all files are stored twice, once sorted and dumped into a filefor playback, and once inside the "torrent"s folder.
Also also do I have to look out for something before jumping head first into soulseek?
