Dune: Part Two was rad. With the story fluff out of the way, this gets right at it. They had those floating flea looking things that I killed thousands of in the video games over the years. Wish I had the rom to fire up the NES game right now. That was the genesis of the Command & Conquer games. Westwood Studios was killing it back then.
I don’t use Discord for anything. They keep emailing me saying my username will expire. No, not the phishing emails. I used it once when a pirate iptv service I was using had its help desk setup on there. Amazingly fast and polite service. Eventually dude got busted or exit-scammed, so it went dark. I tried the FlipperZero chat rooms and it was a dumpster fire. The whole experience was like the very worst of Reddit, on steroids, in real time. Not for me.
It's been years since I looked at Engadget but somehow I just ended up there and it seems to be one giant ad for Samsung phones.
Are there any objective gadget blog/sites out there where I can read about new devices and products without feeling like I'm being pitched at? Or is that all a thing of the past now?
I should note I'll never ever pay for a subscription to anything, if that narrows down the list of available options.
In Rota Spain - I worked diligently, from 0900 until 1445, performing inspections on class 1 medical devices to certify them for another year of use in patient care. Upon completing this task, I followed the Spanish tradition of the SIESTA. Following this, I slathered myself with sunscreen and headed to the very busy beach, where I sat through 3 albums by The Vandals before deciding I’ll be burned if I sit much longer. Then I ate a delicious burger for dinner and completed the day with emails.
Why the hell would I want to take crappy pictures with a Game Boy? I can understand the unique and strange video the Fisher Price Pixelvision cameras can shoot, as an expensive novelty, but beyond "because I can", there's no need for a Game Boy camera. Apps already do this shit and it's fun for all of 5 minutes.
The @MonaApp, which I’ve been testing since the very beginning, now wants me to pay. I should have charged for my beta testing! Can’t import my settings into the new version I downloaded. Might be the end for us!
A guy I used to work with way back in the day is now a CEO at a tech company and penned a diatribe on LinkedIn about how he’s getting his remote workers back in the office and basically called them lazy for prioritizing laundry over work projects. I’m not gonna beef with him on the platform that is my cv, but enough other people are telling him that the slaves are free and it’s time to forget about the ole electronic plantation. He has forgotten the face of his father.
@Unabart Best guess says the guy either has a wife who does unpaid labor at his house, or he has the salary to afford to hire someone to do his laundry.
@rasterweb I know, all the stupid analogies he could have made, he vilified cleaning your clothes over project management. His employees will rejoice when he has an early stroke.
