its wild that pfsense is lacking in such basic functionatliy (if an interface goes down, perform a custom action) that there have to be home assistant integrations to do that for you.

and its even more wild that despite reporting it to netgate over and over and over again (and im not the only one) netgate doesnt seem to care to implement that functionality in the UI, despite the fact it can obviously be done over xmlrpc.

@tankgrrl if you go on youtube and search for tokamak reactors, youll see more just like this. its basically a donut shape on the inside (torus) and they fill the empty space with plasma and contain it magnetically. its pretty wild

honestly so glad I pivoted my career to focusing on industrial control and embedded systems security, rather than sticking with average office stuff, because stuff like "Slack trains LLMs on your company messages with no isolation between roles" and "MS Recall makes infostealers trivial and ruins all ability to isolate an access timeline" is enough that I'd just be throwing my hands up and saying fuck it, I give up. I salute those who have the energy to fight the tide.
