The TLD TL;DR is basically that domains don’t come out of nowhere. Just like how you need a lemmy.zip domain to be able to have the subdomains next.lemmy.zip or old.lemmy.zip, in order to have the domain lemmy.zip you must first have someone to run the .zip top-level domain (in this case, Google)

Like Forester mentioned in the other comment, you can have any combination of letters you want as a TLD, you just have to set up and manage all the infra for it (or find somebody else to do it for you)

It’s interesting how it’s so similar yet so different to the final product. A lot more interesting and engaging, too, this would’ve hooked me in a lot earlier than the actual show did

• BI as a travel hub? What are all those other dimensions about?
• I wonder if that first demon Luz meets was an inspiration for Kikimora. Obviously it became the fairy and guard in ep 1, but idk, still getting some slight Kiki vibes from it too
• Imo much more convincing reason for Luz to want to stay in the Isles
• Hints of Lumity from episode 1? I wonder how the people would’ve reacted to Luz’s “questing in all the right ways” comment from 1x02 Witches Before Wizards if that happened after this (obviously by “the people” I mean “Twitter” and by “I wonder” I mean "accusations of queerbaiting thrown left and right, bisexuality be damned)
• I wonder if Amity was already planned to be Lilith’s protégé? That would’ve been an interesting conflict as they warmed up to each other
• But Eda secretly working for the Emperor‽‽‽ Certainly doesn’t seem like she was very happy about the arrangement. Really curious about how that was going to play out, especially w.r.t. her relation to Lilith

Wow, this is honestly probably one of Mark’s most adult comics. At the very least it exceeds the show’s age rating, because flipping the bird is still technically an explitive, so I think that would make it TV-PG. But TOH is just TV-Y7-FV.

It’s an unofficial, unaffiliated community for a show on YouTube. A little bit popular, only 300 million views on the pilot episode (the most viewed indie animation pilot on YouTube)

I made this a bit after the pilot so didn’t get a chance to pick up on the initial hype. Hopefully episode 2 will reinvigorate things and it wont just be me posting here

I have officially done a thing.

It’s a very early start, but hopefully communicates the idea. I’ll slowly flesh it out over the coming days, and of course you may, too. The Data sheet is going to be a lot of checkboxes for everything, which will work well for filtering, but obviously a bit hard to read and a lot of blank space. So I also designated a Display sheet, which will be purely automated to read from Data and print just the relevant stuff in simple text

It’s currently editable by everyone. I’ve started a few other similar projects like this that were globally editable without problems, but just in case I do have the power to revert and restrict (adding data validation and protected ranges will also help)

(also btw the evil!collectors are called the archivists)

Awesome work! I added and rearranged a few, but I’m sure that will remain in flux for a while. Now on to the rest of the fields!

I definitely plan to make a separate post to announce it, but I figure it would probably be a good idea to at least the overall formatting done first (obviously filling the entire backlog is going to take a while)
