I’ll often be in the shower, and a sad song will come on, and I’ll start to cry, rendering my mom. She never got to meet ME, and i regret that choice so much now.
My father did know me, and he died a few months ago. I had so much trauma from him, and I’d give anything to just argue one more time with him.
After he died, his friends and attendants told me over and over how proud he was of his “unexpected” daughter, and how scared he was for me in this world.
Miss them both. 😭
