Disappointed to find "require authentication every time" isn't an option on the email app for

I know I'd lose new email push notifications, but this is my phone so notifications are off for reasons already. I was hoping that if someone finds my phone and gets into it they'd need my email password and non-phone-based 2fa to get into my emails.

what would you recommend for selfhosted music (and maybe other media) streaming server? jellyfin? funkwhale?

I shifted from Plex to Jellyfin for video content as it works without calling home which is a requirement in Florida where storms take out internet access. Still running Plex for music though because a known bug in Jellyfin prevents the DLNA server functionality I need from working. Oh, and they got me hooked on Plexamp on my phone, need to find a Foss/Oss replacement.

i'm currently trying to assess if it is worth keeping our birdsite presence (i'd rather not tbh). so i'm also asking here: did you buy an MNT product in the last 6 months, and was it because you were informed or reminded of it here?
