    Le istituzioni dell'UE sono attive sui server Mastodon e Peertube, grazie a un progetto pilota gestito dal Garante europeo della protezione dei dati. Ma a maggio verranno chiusi, perché nessuno vuole esserne responsabile.

    Some folks are suggesting you get a FairPhone without Google’s apps from Murena and I’m very confused… why would anyone want to do that?

    FairPhone is an ethical company that makes fair trade and environmentally-friendly phones. And FairPhone includes Google’s apps and promotes their use as a feature on their phones. As an ethical organisation, they would not do that if Google was in any way unethical. So Google must be at least as ethical FairPhone.

    So why buy a version without Google’s apps?

    @aral could be because as a company they need that the software shipped on their phones must be safe. The chromium-based browser shipped in /e/os isn't updated since last December and misses hundreds of security patches (I suspect because they just threw bromite in, rather than maintaining their own browser). Not trying to be the devil's advocate, I still think that FairPhone should promote the developing of a google-free OS and give the option to receive that on newly purchased phones.

    @EU_Commission isn't the job of EU Commission to ban harmful goods? Just ban them! If you allow them to be sold in UE, people will rightly assume that they are safe.

    @jaseg in those cases where potentially harmful products are allowed, it's usually because there's not a definitive replacement for them. The problem is that the post is not informative at all about this. You are absolutely right, but the way the information is delivered has the same energy as cosmetics influencers. They could at least link to detailed information.

    @aural imho i bioshock dopo il primo sono sopravvalutati (il 2 comunque ottimo, il 3 buono), ma vale sicuramente la pena giocarli tutti e tre.
    Ho votato Tomb Raider, ma mi sono poi reso conto che ti riferifi al reboot 😅 quindi direi BioShock

    @aural ahahah ok! Allora go for it! Tra l'altro, a rifletterci, ha più punti in comune con i "shock-like" di quanto pensassi, tipo la scarsità di medikit e munizioni e il trovarsi quasi sempre da soli. Non li gioco da una vita letteralmente, ma non credo siano invecchiati malissimo.

    What makes a game a RPG? Ultima, Fallout, Diablo are, but Binding of Issac, Nuclear Throne are not (IMHO). Is Zelda? If you're playing a "RPG" what do you look for? What makes it a "RPG". Is it more than just collecting weapons and bumping stats? Most game have a form of this that I would not consider a RPG.

    @grumpygamer it's about world reactivity. Are there people around me that interact differently according to how I look or my accent or how smart I am? Then it's an RPG. Does guards see me as a filthy peasant even if I wear an armour literally made of gold? That's not an RPG.

    dispiace vedere tanto astio e invidia verso chi ha istanze ben più attive ma scrivere cazzate su un blog e inventarsi una propria narrazione è pura diffamazione fra l'altro anche con rilevanza penale e non possiamo certo accettarlo.

    Capisco ci sia un effetto Streisand e quindi alcuni account si mettono a condividere senza leggere, per questo avremo comprensione.

    @filippodb @kenobit letteralmente dalla "guida a mastodon e al fediverso": "La principale istanza italiana è Mastodon.uno". Non vengono citate altre istanze di mastodon. Non c'è nemmeno un link all'elenco di istanze italiane (https://joinmastodon.org/it/servers). Che va pure bene, se la chiamate "guida a mastodon.uno", non "guida a mastodon e al fediverso".
