A script that lets me quickly check the latest #MSX Mastodon tweets straight from my MSX! Getting "the internet" on a computer from the 80's is still fascinating.
Sealed games rarely interest me because I just want to play. This Hole in One has a Special (ha!) place in my heart though. The cover art is one of my favs for #MSX and the series is just fun to play!
Besides, someone offered it to me for cheap. So what was I going to do? 😋

Pretty much all of the Philips MSX1 and MSX2 models, and also a Panasonic Turbo-R. The latter is the one I use most, together with the Philips NMS8280.
@darth Nowadays I mostly use the MSX to test the games I'm making on PC ( cross development ). And the Turbo-R is the one that boosts the fastest, so that's the obvious choice 😅
@darth Yeah, but they'd be using assembly for totally different chips!
And it's not just the processor, you also have to learn the environment and the other chips ( like sound and video ) that are connected. This is completely different on an Amiga compared to MSX.
I wouldn't know where to start on the 68k, let alone actually reading out a click from the mouse! That sounds advanced! 😅
@darth Cheers! I have indeed been looking at that some years ago, but never found one that fitted my TV. It's gone a bit to the background now as I don't use it often (enough). Should pull it out of storage soon!
Just got in today and very happy with my new Tank Mouse from @alienpriv - I wanted to use it for my Amiga 500, but very much tempted now to keep it next to my PC, I really like how oldfashionedly un-ergonomic it feels 😅 #amiga
@darth I gave it a quick spin for a day or so. I like it! But it also feels like something "special", so I'm not using it for my day to day work. I'm afraid it'll wear out eventually.
Kept it in the box so I can use it when I get the Amiga out!
