Anyone interested in doing some hiking the weekend before @drupalcon Portland? I'm gathering some folks...

@mherchel @drupalcon

That would be fun, but not sure my knees would thank me. What are you thinking an easy stroll or hiking Mt. Hood?

Yet another example of the technical staff of the Drupal Association (and their partners) bringing value to our community.

If you or your company isn’t a #Drupal Association member, why not?

@pcambra @ultimike @hestenet what am I missing here? Is there a “certified partners” thing? The post referenced by @pcambra just mentioned Association members… (the link went to the post about single sign on)

@pcambra @liberatr thanks, I knew I was missing something.

The new @drupalassoc certified partners is just delusional, and incredibly US centered, so now if you don't pay a fee you're not listed in the marketplace no matter how much you contribute?

In our case (10 people agency + contractors), a $5000 fee is just not worth it, we were happily paying the community supporter tier but we won't do a 5x increase, it's just not reasonable for our budget.

Is the webinar link available somewhere?

On that url https://www.drupal.org/association/blog/turning-takers-into-makers-the-enhanced-drupal-certified-partner-program

"A webinar is planned for March to review the new Drupal Certified Partner program.

If you would like to learn more, please register for our upcoming webinar on 5 March 2024 hosted by myself and Kelly Delaney, our Director of Development..."

Twin Cities Drupal Camp is just over a month away. We've long had one of the biggest and best camps in the country. Please, consider joining us.

Hoping to get a critical mass of BackdropCMS folks here as well to share experiences and lessons learned upgrading Drupal 7 sites to .

The new Xray Audit module looks especially useful for migrations. I've done stuff like this manually for migrations from Drupal 7...

Nice work, Luis and Ricardo from metadrop!

@ultimike https://www.drupal.org/project/xray_audit Looks very interesting. Let us know if/when you get a chance to try it out!

So many new modules already on my list to investigate!!

MATT, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?

At @midcamp, I gave a lightning talk about the greatest and worst idea I have had for four years.

An interoperability layer for #Drupal to keep running legacy code.

mglaman/drupal-bridge is coming soon!

what if you could migrate from D7 -> D10 without rewriting all of your code? what if we only needed to migrate data and refactor legacy code over time? how many Drupal 7 sites could this unblock?

Picture of Drupal 7 taxnomy_menu module installed on Drupal 10
Screenshot of Drupal 7 module's database table being created (okay, this kind of just worked without trickery)

@mglaman @midcamp great idea!!
