And on the subject of the Doctor crying a lot, please note that as a sentient being I think it’s possible to be in touch with and aware of your feelings without bursting into tears all the time. Feels so much like an over-correction: from practically never to every episode. Yikes.
Dr Who, Ep3 Boom wasn’t too bad. Though the Doctor crying all the time takes a bit to get used to. Ep4 73 Yards was excellent! Millie flexing her acting skills for sure. The season is improving (thank goodness). #DoctorWho
Feels good to have spent some time today working on notes for the next Pragmatic and a new episode of Analytical. New Causality on the tip of my fingers, just need to pick the topic!
Just created a WikiPedia account so I could flag something as needed a Citation because there’s no publicly available information to verify their claim. It demonstrates how easy it is for fringe entries to be modified without verification. I know I reference WikiPedia a lot but I always cross-check with formal reports where I can. Not everyone else does.
So great to see VMWare Fusion now available for personal use for free. I’ve ditched Parallels for now since Fusion works just fine. I really got sick of the $99USD nag every single year.
Regarding Apple removing stickers from their product packaging, I think in my entire life I’ve used x1 sticker once: on my Hackintosh. I must have dozens I’ve accumulated if I could be bothered to look, which I couldn’t be. No loss.
I have officially stepped back from wearing a smartwatch as my daily watch for the first time in nearly a decade. My wife bought me this as a 21st Anniversary present. ❤️
For the record, I no longer use an iPad Pro. I got rid of it and switched to an iPad Air 5th Gen with a Smart Keyboard Folio and Apple Pencil 2 for editing my Podcasts in Ferrite. I got 64GB of storage and the WiFi only model, and it’s M1 chip is almost as fast as my M2 Macbook Air. The new iPads hold zero interest to me. This will be my iPad for the next 5 years minimum.
