A fic rec for #fanficfriday or #ficrec! I love Murder in Barbarikon, a #TheEagle #TheEagleOfTheNinth post canon fic with a murder mystery and fake dating! I really like how it's totally different than 'Marcus and Esca settle down and become farmers' and they instead travel together for the rest of their life. This is a great locked room murder mystery and Esca ans Marcus' misunderstandings and then realisations are so well done.

What are people's favourite Sunday afternoon fics? Not necessarily 'cozy', but that perfect length to read while eating lunch really slowly and thinking about doing chores? My hot take is that 10k is the perfect fic length.
