I’m damn near 40 in a great career and I still miss my old McDonald’s days that paid peanuts. It was a weird mix of monotony, spontaneity and genuine friendships.
As a near 40 year old with the same amount of student loan debt, I have absolutely considered a part-time gig to help pay down the loans. But the amount seems so enormous, and the repayment would be so comparatively small, that the little free time with my family is far more valuable.
I’ve been very busy with work the last few months so I haven’t really played any games, but things are finally starting to get back to normal a bit and I wanted to try this RPG. I played it a bit when it came out but decided to really dive into it this time. Just wondering if there’s anyone here who’s played it and has...
You are my kin. I tried it on Gamepass and brushed it off as boring like 15 mins in. I see all the great reviews and I want to try it again but now it stings to pay $15-25 for it. Enjoy it.
I have ptsd from that Early Transcendental Calculus. But boy do I miss those college days where you’re just drinking from life’s firehose of knowledge.
I know nowadays we have all we can learn about at our fingertips but there’s something magical about it in your 20s.
I basically taught myself using UGs tabs a long time ago. I pains me that I never learned how to properly play or understand music technically. I left off somewhere between beginner and intermediate level, and I’ve struggled to find a platform that can help me relearn without getting bored or impatient.
I really miss the thrill of learning to play guitar and would give anything to properly learn now, but time and patience is short. My guitars are collecting dust and I really miss the feeling I used to get back when I’d learn a new song.
Funny enough, I think I have that cable somewhere. Had a blast with that game years ago. Shame it won’t play on Xbox Series X/S but I think it works on Steam. I’ll have to check.
The drums were badass though. They’re reselling for like $300+ nowadays, which is insane.
Our laundry room sink has this bizarre attachment to to the back of the drain line clean out. It would almost seem like it was or is supposed to be a vent. Recently it’s started to give off a foul sewer smell when our washing machine rinses....
Thanks for taking a look and the advice. I just went through our old demo pics and noticed the small pipe runs up and joins the primary vent stack. Now I can plug it and be done with that stench.
Think an expansion plug or should I try to chop the pipe and cap it?
I’m open to the ghetto solution for the time being while I cap it. I replied to another comment with a pic of the main vent stack so it looks like I’ll be able to cap it. Just have to figure out the best way to do that.
