While I doubt it is possible to estimate how many left Reddit since the spez crap went down, the total growth of others like Lemmy, Mastadon and even Threads is probably the most indicative of that estimate.

I too left Reddit when RiF died, but we’re still a drop in the bucket compared to the numbers that still frequent the platform.

Gen X and prior used a lot of landmarks to get from A to B where routes were commonly used. Landmark navigation is still heavily used today in places like India and Mexico where routes change hourly sometimes due to road closures and accidents that gps mapping cannot account for.

I once had to drive pre-google from Paris, France to Madrid, Spain and then to Valencia, Spain with nothing more than a AAA Auto Club map and a Philips Road Atlas. Not fun in many eays, but it was an adventure.

Ukraine should sniff out its current location in Kaliningrad and send a few drones just for spite. If Ukraine can hit inside Russia as far in as Pskov and Moscow, it’s at least plausible.

The 5 from Mission Bay through to Governor Drive most M-F between 7-9am is atrocious due to UCSD traffic, but clears up after that.

Honestly, depends on the day and thus the number of people commuting into UCSD. Tue and Thu seem to be the worst and will impact flow by 30 minutes or more.

It’s still better than going south in the morning though where times easily exceed an hour.
