I bought 16 on PS5 at release and it’s definitely worth waiting for a sale. The combat is pretty great but I find the story pretty mediocre (although I haven’t finished it yet) and the world is just so drab and full of predictable characters. This is Final Fantasy, give us some colour! In FFVI you could play as a Yeti teaming up with a girl who paints her enemies to death along with a guy who can suplex a train!
I’ve been enjoying FFVII Remake though, and planning to get Rebirth once I’m done with it
I don’t mind this personally. The world of FFVII is huge, and the remaster has so much more detail in it. It’s not like the remasters are short games, expecting the entire FFVII story to be told in this kind of detail in one £50 box is kind of a big ask.
I’d love to see Bjarne Stroustrup being grilled by Congress about this, and have to explain shared pointers and reference counting to the same people who didn’t understand how Facebook made money.
If the Dems are serious about beating Trump, they still have time to pick a different candidate in their primaries. Joe Biden is clearly very unpopular - the last election was way too close, and this one is at real risk of Trump winning.
bf: the budget of the Transformers films could have housed every homeless person in California several times over. We should all consider them enemies.
There are actually still people playing the original Unreal Tournament from 1999 on public servers. I occasionally jump on one of them and it’s still the glorious chaos it always was!
