jeffw,

Debatable, but none are bad

jeffw,

Do you really want to know why it doesn’t suggest sexual things? First, kids use it. Second, that’s a pretty temporary fix for the problem of boredom, while it’s suggesting longer term projects.

And it won’t suggest drug use because that’s illegal in many places, such as the USA where ChatGPT is based.

jeffw,

Exactly. And this is Lemmy, the modlogs are public. People always want to believe things are a conspiracy instead of logically considering more plausible reasons.

jeffw,

Can you point to a community where it’s not public? I’ve never seen one and my understanding was that was a feature of Lemmy, if not all of the fediverse

jeffw,

technically Trisomy 21 is the most common cause of Down syndrome. It is not actually synonymous, as some people with Down syndrome do not have Trisomy 21.

New Israeli report alleging ‘systematic and intentional rape’ by Hamas relies on debunked Western media reports - The Grayzone (thegrayzone.com)

The contents of the Israeli Association of Rape Crisis Center’s paper alleging “systematic” Hamas rape derive largely from discredited second-hand testimonies and debunked media reports. Among its most heavily cited sources is a dubious NY Times article that triggered a staff revolt at the paper.

jeffw,

Hilarious when discredited outlets call other news outlets discredited.

Some people want for Israel to be the only bad guys here, when the fact is that Hamas is shitty as well. Also, rape during war is so incredibly common that I’d be shocked if it weren’t happening. But this outlet doesn’t believe the Uyghurs are being attacked by the CCP either

jeffw,

On the one hand, anyone in the GOP talking about racial discrimination is a step in the right direction.

On the other hand, he just compared his completely warranted and legitimate indictments to the oppression of Black Americans…

jeffw, (edited )

The main point of the article is how it changed? And women are going left and men right.

jeffw,

The second result I. The USA is the hotline too.

jeffw,

Slightly misleading. The bill was introduced about a month ago, before the Alabama SC ruling. There is no mention of IVF in the bill. That doesn’t mean it would be banned per se, but up to federal courts to interpret.

jeffw,

Honestly, I could probably afford to drop everything, rent a cheap-ish place and buy some basic furniture. A couple other things are stopping me, like the connections I have here, family and friends. In terms of a different country, citizenship isn’t always so easy to come by

jeffw, (edited )

Sure would be a shame if someone linked to the website or even directly to the form where people could spam it and waste public officials’ time until they take it down.

jeffw,

Oh no. That would be such a shame. Especially if someone linked to the script.

jeffw,

A classic, made when homosexuality was still illegal in the UK

One of my few “10/10” movies on IMDb.

jeffw,

Also from all, but yes. Not daily or your skin will be super dried out.

What is the best way to succinctly describe this symptom?

I have been taking Cymbalta 60mg and I have noticed its benefits wearing off both physically and mentally. It used to be that when I missed a dose, I would feel “fuzzy,” almost like lightheadedness but without the headache, more like a rush of blood that makes me feel that way. Now even when I take the proper dosage, I feel...

jeffw,

I’ve been on the same med, same dose and 100% know the weird feeling you get from a missed dose. But completely forgetting what you did minutes ago? That’s not a normal effect with an SNRI. It’s also pretty unlikely that you’d develop a side effect after being on the medication. If anything, it usually goes the other way, where side effects fade away after being on a med for a while.

It’s possible that you’re getting some physical effect that’s unrelated to your Cymbalta, but maybe the physical effect reminds you of the feeling you get when you miss a pill.

jeffw,

Food for thought: Lemmy instance admins probably can’t afford $800 an hour corporate attorneys to fight off subpoenas.

jeffw,

Depends on the song. I wouldn’t put him in the same category as someone like The Antlers, but he’s got some stuff that’s serious.

jeffw,

Why do you want to die?

jeffw,

If you’re concerned about the climate, you could take action and attempt to change things. In terms of what we gain, that’s up to you. Maybe it’s as trivial as seeing the sequel to your favorite movie. There’s not enough time to experience everything this world has to offer. That’s the sad part to me. I’ll just try to experience what I can for as long as I can.

jeffw,

It took them years to go after the RomHacks, so that’s not much of an argument
