I remember how nervous I was when (in early 2020) I went to the post office with my 📱 to drop off a 📦 and present the barcode on the phone. (Having previously scp'ed the pdf to the phone to show it in evince).

Would the 🔋 last? Would it overheat? Would the display stack hold? It worked.

Nowadays I don't spend a thought: Fill in the data on my laptop, save the pdf, have it synced automatically via to 's ticket-box folder and show it at the counter. ✅

@whynothugo I haven't looked at that in a while, so I don't recall what all it does.. we do need some "first boot" setup thing though, with a touch/friendly GUI (or cli/tui option is fine too)

@tomstoneham devices with sdm845 SoC work pretty well (e.g. OnePlus 6), any x86_64 tablet would be nice with (for example)

@justgui it is! I wish the switches were easily replaceable, and the battery life were longer, but over all I really like it. Typing on it is nice ("brown tactile" switches), and it's relatively easy to customize it and manage the config for it.
