TW: creepy crawlies

Here's video of the animated graphic that was being used for the queue for tickets yesterday during the pre-sale. It was pretty cool but probably also disconcerting for some who are creepy-crawly adverse. When I would look at it to check my progress, I'd start to get itchy if I watched it for a while. 1/2

I also noticed that they were using an internal queue this time, whereas they've been recently using queue-it for ticket sales.

@monorailtimes It's a terrific video, although I'm dismayed that it's marked as possibly inappropriate for some ages. There's nothing inappropriate in it.

Really disappointed to hear the Fred Roggin radio ads for MyPillow. I've always liked him as a sports reporter, and he seemed like a nice guy. But people show themselves in what they choose to endorse.

This picture was in response to a picture a man posted from being at a Pride parade. And that seems to be the reaction from so many, that being part of LGBTQIA+ and attending Pride events is just declaring who you're having sex with. But somehow that doesn't seem to apply to the heterosexual population? /1

Both Natalie Portman (in an old picture) and Serena Williams look gorgeous in their pregnancy photos, but are they "proud to let kids know and to celebrate that they sleep with men"? That's not how heterosexual people are viewed. They're just living their lives.

Are Al Pacino and Robert de Niro declaring that they sleep with women because they're each having another child? (Some people might say yes, but that's another discussion.) They're also just living their lives. /2

But if there was a picture of two men or two women with their children, there would be the accusation of pushing their "agenda" in people's faces when they too are just living their lives.

The Brady Bunch picture shows two people who clearly had sex with someone in order for the children to have been produced, and now they're having sex with each other in this new marriage. No, that's not how they were described? /3

Look at all those happy wedding pictures. But is it ok to "display topics based on who people prefer to sleep with"? Again, people don't view it that way, because each is a picture of a man and a woman who have been portrayed as heterosexual. Change the images and then you'd get the accusations in the first picture of this thread.

And don't even get me started on the various dating shows where it's all about what women a man is sleeping with or what men a woman is sleeping with. /4

That's not declaring their sexual practices to the world, right? That's not shoving their sexuality in people's faces.

Think about what you complain about with LGBTQIA+ people and realize that you ignore and excuse those same things when it comes to heterosexual people. /5 end

You may not understand your child. But that doesn't mean you can't love and accept your child for who they tell you they are.

I heard stories last night of people who were ridiculed, ostracized and disowned when coming out as LGBTQIA+ to their parents. Don't be one of them.
