So, USPS is saying stop paying your bills?

"Check fraud has gotten so rampant that postal officials are warning Americans to avoid mailing checks. Banks issued roughly 680,000 reports of check fraud last year. That’s up from 350,000 reports in 2021."

Never been a better time for USPS to adopt a new business model.

@briankrebs im over 40 and I never used a check. I remember my parents early using one to pay, seems like an eternity ago. Is that still such a big thing in the u.s.? Don't you have wire transfer or do so few people have a bank account?

Wenn dir in einer Organisation jemand sagt, dass etwas „nicht geht“, dann ist es nicht weil es nicht geht, sondern weil irgendjemand WILL, dass es nicht geht und somit weißt du mit wem du sprechen musst.

20 years from now when entering a password to log in to a site is as antiquated as sending a fax is now, people are going to read the comments responding to my recent passkey stories and just shake their heads. The number of know-nothings second-guessing the hundreds of engineers who developed WebAuthn is just mind boggling. The edge cases these know nothings use to show why passwords, which they all has spent years hating on, are more secure, are breath taking. History is going to mock these people hard.

Biometrics is just operating system convenience with Password fallback. Given shitty 4digit pin or paint-on-your-screen phone"security" it's just not that secure

I need some arguments “pro office work” in order to falsify my hypothesis.
