He brings a pair of toy binoculars to my head, tells me my head is covered in blood, and covers my hair in a toy rabbit. I'm not to remove it for three and a half days.

    I think there should be a separate Mastodon-like project on the fediverse that is designed to be more privacy focused, doesn't federate by default, and doesn't post publicly by default. Using software like Mastodon and expecting people not to use the public information you publish in ways you don't expect is just going to lead to disappointment over and over and over again.
