Something I've found annoying about Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is that it's not overly obvious when you can safely quit the game without losing progress.
There has been several times when I've exited the game when I think I've passed a major milestone and when I've loaded back in, I've found myself further back than I thought I would be.
There isn't a way to manually save it, so it's especially frustrating when you have to do a major boss fight again!
It's amazing how publishers of school reading books really manage to produce works that capture young children's imagination and fuel a lifelong passion for reading. Just look at this gem I pulled out of MiniStrasse's book bag!
We got the final results for the #Hockey polls I put up a few days ago...and it's tight. Looks like there's no real split opinion on how either of the series go.
For what it's worth, I didn't get to vote in my own poll (thanks Mastodon?) but I'd give given the edge to both the Stars and the Panthers.
I think Edmonton's goaltending is their Achilles heel, and I think the Panthers are just too deep to be worried by the Rangers.
Image showing the results of the #Hockey poll I put up a few days ago. Results are split 50/50. Technically there's still a day left on the poll, but given that the Eastern Conference finals have already started, I think it's fair to close them now.
Shouldn't be too difficult, although it is more difficult than it should be.
For a company that wants it's platforms available on other devices the fact that I can't install something on Desktop mode to just have this work seems shortsighted.
I played a few titles, namely NHL24 (those numbers got big eh?) and a little Gears of War Ultimate Edition.
It works. The games run. Although I can say for certain that I'd never choose to play a game that way, I guess it might work in a pinch?
My internet isn't good enough to make it feel truly native, and tbh, I'm not sure the technology is even at a point where that's possible; and I'm a snob when it comes to that stuff.
@EighthLayer I'm sure it'll get there eventually, but right now it's not even close to being good enough, atleast for me.
It has to be perfect to win me over. For the most part it was okay; I felt the lag but it was playable. However I had a very small spell where it shat the bed and I essentially lost control of the game I was playing for 10 seconds. Naaaah.
Anyone else ever play a single player game and worry that you're not playing it right? Like, you're progressing well through the game, but somehow you feel like the designers would be disappointed in how you're doing everything? I feel like that with Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker
Decided to start a replay of Tomb Raider. Crazy to think the rebooted version is already 11 years old.
When I played this the first time around, I thought this scene looked incredible! And although some of the graphics in this game still stand up well today, it’s definitely showing its age!
@64bithero if I've learned one thing from Vegas since their Inception it's that they'll happily get rid of anything and anyone they deem to be an issue.
Remember when they fired Gallant. That front office is absolutely brutal.
