Make sure you update the firmware after setup I’ve seen alot of this solved by that Though there are some with bad boards

Also, have your Dad try out the new Mini firmware It’s supposed to give a nice speed increase

First print with PETG (lemmy.eyeofthestorm.place)

I’ve heard (and seem) many a horror story about PETG and was ready for hours of troubleshooting. Generic PETG settings in Prusaslicer and honestly this print couldn’t be much better! There’s a few layer inconsistencies, but those should be pretty trivial to fix after I get a temp tower done....

This was my first PETG print It was on an upgraded Ender 3 Pro with Printed Solid Red PETG I just followed some advice online for the settings I did have have a few issue with PETG on my Sidewinder 2 and almost ruined the glass bed

I use a 32" 60Hz monitor That’s the way to go Level One Techs covered this due to those same reasons Wendel’s mom’s Smart TV ran out of storage for the OS Updates and some apps upgraded beyond working on the old OS It’s like cell phones So, I went with a large cheap monitor on sale and stream from my PC or Roku stick It’s basically built-in obsolescence

to me, Geothermal would be the way to go in the cold North Constant temp to draw heat from means the same efficiency all the time Then again I think Hybrid EVs are better for the same reason
