So today we bought a school bag for our kid. He'll start school next year so you could say that this was early.
But the bag was "just" 70€ reduced from 250.
250 Euros for a kids school bag.
And everyone I know buys them.
Same with these ridiculously priced Woom bikes.
Apparently parents are easy to milk, because who doesn't want the best for their kids, right?
Well sucks for our kid that I am not willing to pay stupidity tax.
He learned riding the bike on a cheap one last year just fine.

True, they are light AF. But as I wrote, our son didn't need longer to learn how to ride a bike without support wheels.
And now he can easily switch bikes with his friends whereas they have trouble riding his "heavy" bike🤭
In the last two years they built there nest in our mailbox, which was not really ideal. So this year we built them a safe one that is out of reach for cats and other predators, and I am happy that one accepted it 😊
Redstarts are really cool! They can get really loud if a cat is nearby.
A few weeks ago, I found straws, polystyrene and feathers in a flower pot outside one of the windows. Blocks here have been thermally insulated with polystyrene on the outside and well, sparrows have discovered they can pick at it, make a hole and nest in there. 🤭
