Finally got to see Audra McDonald sing live today!! 🎶🤩
Only 25+ years after I first heard her revelatory Carry Pipperidge on the cast album for the 1994 Broadway revival of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Carousel 😍
I might have nearly burst into tears when she opened with "I Am What I Am" (La Cage aux Folles) & "Mister Snow" (Carousel) 😅
Annd anyway, this concert & Audra were everything that I wanted today 😌
These are bloody marvellous. Marci G DiMarco playing snippets from Queen songs on his custom Brian May replica guitar. Samples below. Many more on his YouTube channel.

I remember this coming out as a single 40 years ago. I bought it on 7-inch vinyl. The paper labels were stuck on the wrong sides. I fixed mine with a biro 🤦🏻♂️
I loved it then. I still love it now. I was in a minority of rabid Queen fans who did love it and the subsequent Hot Space album at the time. Most of the haters came around over the years.
Queen performing Another One Bites The Dust live at the Montreal Forum in 1981.
The late 1970s and early 1980s tours were the best Queen live period. Their craft was perfected. The lighting rigs were superb, and the stages weren’t so big that they disappeared. Unlike the 1986 tour, where the stage was too big in most venues.
