@lina_wolf, @supergarv, @brotkrueml and Florian Thiele are currently on the Community Sprint in Düsseldorf. We are working on the new rendering based on the render-guides package from @phpdoc which should supersede the current Python-based rendering.

In the last weeks we've put quite a lot of work into modernizing the File Abstraction Layer (FAL) chapter in "TYPO3 Explained" ✍️ . All of the code examples now use modern PHP with dependency injection. 💪
