Happened in Brazil too in 2016. Corrupt prosecutor (now congressman) worked with corrupt judge (who later became justice minister and is currently a senator) to imprison Lula. He couldn’t run for the presidency and Bolsonaro got it. Later, the Supreme Court found that the case was based on lies and there were coordination between the prosecutor and the judge and they reinstated Lula’s freedom and political rights.

But now, the tables have turned, and after Bolsonaro’s actions in the failed coup on 2022, the Supreme Court took away Bolsonaro’s political rights and he can’t be a candidates for any office until 2030.

In Rio de Janeiro happened something like this. An old woman and a children were walking on the bike lane and an ebike crashed to them and killed the old woman. A city councilperson hurried up to make a law banning e-bikes from bike lanes, saying that they should use the car infrastructure, but the Mayor vetoed the project.

Idk, trying to solve something on Linux is usually just running some command on the terminal and your done. In windows you have to edit some special file on the registry or something like that. I think it’s what you are used to use, I’m being a Linux user for 14 years now, I can’t even think of how to solve something in windows (windows XP was my last windows install)

This reminds me a case on Argentina, where Louis Vuitton or other high fashion brand was suing an street vendor for selling falsified purses. The judge dismissed the case, arguing that trademarks are not there to protect the companies, but to protect consumers, and that no one would be as stupid to think that a LV purse bought on the streets for 20 pesos is an original one.
