“Due to the new job I've given myself permission to consume even more design systems related content. In doing so I listened to a recent Syntax FM episode featuring the folks from Shoelace, now Web Awesome, where they talked about joining up with Font Awesome and their Kickstarter”
Little bit of news:
Next month I will be wrapping up my role as Team Lead on Nord Design System at Nordhealth.
So proud of the work we've done and it's been a privilege to have worked alongside the rest of the Design System team, past and present (cc @ariel, @elwinvaneede, @WickyNilliams & @bellahabib). Here's to the best DS team ever! 🥂💙
I was a big fan of the GitHub.com following feed, but with the recent changes it's hard to tell if they were going for some clever algorithmic feed (bad) or it's just plain ass broken (also bad).
Right now all I can see is who followed me in the last 2 months and 1 nodejs pull request… repeated 3 times
Adjustable desk people, what desks are you using? I think I’m in the market for one, but just the frame. I’ve got a pretty huge desktop which I want to continue using
@DavidDarnes Fully Jarvis. They sold it without table top, but they’re now part of Herman Millar and reduced their Fully products 😢. So got a feeling they don’t sell it anymore without a tabletop. But there are some good alternatives like Uplift (recommended by Wirecutter) that should sell it without tabletop.
@DavidDarnes@zachleat If it’s a public repo with mostly TypeScript then I don’t see nothing wrong with it, aside from wording maybe. At least it’s not blocking.
