my trick for creamy #hummus is to have two matching stick blenders, and when the first one gets almost too hot to hold, switch to the other motor head and go again. I don't think you could get one that would run 2x as long but would be interested to see it.
I'm at this amazing green space /walking path /bike path. Volleyball court etc. I can bike or walk here. People drive. I used to do that. We should have amazing, safe green space within walking distance of everyone!!
it's that time of year where I need wool slacks with removable lower leg sections, or I would if I didn't work at home and just switch pants between school dropoff and pickup
I'm not sure what happened to this car, it starts smoking a few seconds in. There was not a lot of noise but it looks like they might have jumped the light or something and stomped the gas in a panic while other cars were turning left (I don't think that left arrow ever turns green after oncoming thru green.)
@Karstan the challenge is finding something low-key/low-value enough that I don't worry about leaving it wired into the bike, though I would feel more comfortable if the data card could be easily unplugged while locking the bike. Maybe a small removable head-unit, but this one has five plugs to it, not something I want to be part of my parking routine. Or maybe it would lock and remove like the battery, but I would like to have the bike key hold the data. Nothing I've seen can do that
@mmb maybe I need to add another camera at each end with a narrower angle lens, since I too frequently end up without a usable plate and forget to look at it or say it into the audio.
@mmb yeah the whole point of having the camera is for insurance, so it worries me that I frequently can't make out the plate, if I needed it for something more serious than the thousands of traffic violations I've endured that aren't worth the onerous process of personally doing something about it. But if I could get a cut of the tickets I could quit my day job. Trying to make a list of cars with missing or modified plates though, 🤔 maybe that could be better automated with stationary cameras.
