It’s a shame that Thunderbird still doesn’t have true running-in-background and silent startup-in-background features yet. This is definitely something Mozilla needs to get working on for Thunderbird, in my opinion.
Finally decided to ditch the horrible new Outlook app (which is nothing more than a glorified web app that's painfully slow, bloated, and broken half the time) and switched to Thunderbird. Not going to look back here, Microsoft took a perfectly-good mail/PIM client and destroyed it.
Went to Pasir Ris Park at the eastern end of Singapore to see if I can see any of the owls that nest there. Didn’t manage to spot them but did see all the chickens that have seemingly overrun the entire park lol.

This is a controversial opinion of mine, and definitely a vast oversimplification, but I think Singapore’s laws (particularly the Women’s Charter) don’t do enough to protect women while still managing to discriminate against men.
Okay serious question: is there a guide somewhere out there that instructs me on how to disable, turn off, block, etc. ALL generative AI features on, like, literally everything I use? Computers, phones, web sites, apps, etc.
Already fully disabled Windows Copilot on my Windows PC using Group Policy but I want to go far more. I want literally zero AI in everything I use, except those truly necessary (like AI image upscaling for gaming graphics).
