I would like to show you the one thing about "bluesky" I am actively impressed by: By default, it will not do anything that would expose your IP address or cookies to an external entity (such as YouTube when you click play on an OpenGraph embed) without you consenting in a clickthrough.

In addition I have like, six posts of things about bsky that make me absolutely tear my hair out that I haven't posted because I'm not sure you wanna hear that much about bsky

I have gone back and forth on how to deal with that pesky preset button on the Godot Importer pad.

I think this works.

Left is original Godot, Right is my SwiftUI version.

There is an odd space at the bottom that I have not quite figured out where it comes from in SwiftUI.

    Yesterday, for the first but probably not the last time, I had the very american experience of getting a “we’re in lockdown I love you” text from my kid. then, the very american first thought of “well I gotta go down there because we learned from uvalde that the police will be useless”.

    It was a false alarm, thankfully. And I was in bed with COVID. But made me realize that on a gut level, I know we cannot get out of this mess with cops and laws.
