Mars Express by Jérémie Périn has been released in theaters in Germany, USA Japan.
And now Bluray editions are available in France (almost sold out after 48h) and in Germany on 6/6.
In addition to being and excellent SF movie, a full sequence is in fact an exclusive demo created by Still (Pixtur and 1x)!
Of course it was recorded for the movie but it was a request of the director, who's a former Amiga user, to ask demosceners to make that sequence. :abunhdhop:

Soooo, while I still spend time here on Mastodon, I'm spending more time these days on Bluesky. But, with Bridgy Fed, there is now a bridge of my posts on Bluesky that can appear here as well, for folks interested in hearing me blather on over there...
@lewdmachines@mmasnick@mmasnick.bsky.social@bsky.brid.gy the way I see it, at one point they're going to charge people for storage on their account or that kind of thing (probably with a free storage that allows you to have a working account with no restrictions if you don't post medias). And you'd still be able to have your own hosting like now.
It's like, moving the business model to pay services, which is actually how FOSS work.
@lewdmachines@mmasnick@mmasnick.bsky.social@bsky.brid.gy The whole point of ATproto anyway is for people to be able to migrate their account to another service provider if the one you're using becomes "evil". Even the staff could quit Bluesky and build a "new Bluesky" where people will be able to migrate if that happens.
@lewdmachines@mmasnick@mmasnick.bsky.social@bsky.brid.gy lots of people didn't even bother to try bluesky and went to Threads already. Because Threads = Instagram, which has 2 billions MAU (you only have to click a button to create a Threads account).
People on bluesky don't care about federation, that's the trick. It's federated, but the federation is invisible. When they federated all the accounts' hosting a few months ago, nothing changed for the end users.
Also they use moderation & feeds seamlessly, while it's also federated.
"True Colors", the S2 finale of Amphibia, aired 3 years ago.
You can think what you want of Amphibia, but it definitively hits my short list of the top best finales ever.
It's like watching an hour long movie seamlessly packed in a 24mn episode with twists and sequences you wouldn't expect - as I told myself when it ended: "What the fuck did I just watch?".
I often describe it as "Miyazaki meets Dragonball".
Also Disney Channel cancelled the premiere just before the broadcast because of the content, and that should tell you something.
