Kinda random tbh. I used to use “gerry” but that name was quite often used because it’s a Dutch name. So I needed something extra. In a bit of a goofy mood I came across some appelflappen, Dutch food comprised of apple sort of wrapped by pastry. And, uh, my brain did brain stuff.
If BMW drivers can always drive faster in order to tailgate the vehicle in front of them as closely as possible, can’t we reach light speed by letting a few BMWs drive in a big circle with some space between them? Think about the possibilities here
Stevia is considered a "natural non-caloric sweetener." Saccharin and sucralose are considered "non-nutritive sweeteners" (few or no calories). Aspartame is a "nutritive sweetener" (adds some calories but far less than sugar).
Aspartame comes with a warning to be used cautiously (or not at all) by people with a rare genetic disease (called phenylketonuria, or PKU) because they have trouble metabolizing it; that's not true for the other sweeteners. And all four vary on their level of sweetness and aftertaste, which is likely why people often prefer one over another. #Stevia#kombucha#ikombucha_ro#ikombucha https://www.health.harvard.edu/blog/sweeteners-time-to-rethink-your-choices-2019022215967
Is this a bug are are you intentionally spamming posts about artificial sweeteners? On Lemmy this is basically flooding my feed, but maybe that’s just an issue between Lemmy and Kbin
Not sure if it’s due to the app I use (Connect for Lemmy), but the formatting in the title is completely broken, showing the hashtag in markdown link syntax followed by a floss.social url. I suspect this was posted from Mastodon or something?
