Today at work, I foolishly clicked the “try new Outlook” button, hoping for a new version less shitty than the old version.
After it installed, it DEMANDED I copy emails to the Microsoft cloud, which violates our data protection policies. No option for local only as far as I could tell.
Luckily I was just able to remove it and go back to the old version with having to contact IT ☺️
@FlockOfCats Q is of course how your IT even allows this shit. We can't access any of that at all or even install anything like this would all the corp-spy-ware shitting on our faces ...
