Grease mephitis in the sewers. This exchange pops in to my head at least once a day for some reason:
“What did the wizard say this river was called again?”
“I believe he called it ‘the SYOO-ER’”
“Well what ever it is, it’s impressive, and it tastes great”
Something about the cadence and delivery from the voice actors just make me laugh every time. Honestly, even for the most random of characters, all the voice actors absolutely killed it in this game.
I recently picked up the quick start guide, and so far it looks really cool. I’m hoping to run it sometime in the near future, so I’m wondering what people’s thoughts are on it as a system....
Because they don't get listed by browse.feddit.de you'll want to browse https://kbin.social/magazines to browse "magazines", which is what they call communities...
I agree with this. I've been using Jerboa when needed (personally prefer it to the mobile browser), but if I have the option I'm just browsing using my laptop. I'm sure that there is going to be a point where mobile apps like Jerboa are more streamlined, which I look forward to. I've always been a mobile user first and foremost.
...how many of you will stay? Personally, I wiped my Reddit history and deleted my account, so I'm definitely here to stay. I can see, however, that a number of people see Lemmy more as a distraction until the blackout is over. I wonder what that number would be.
A lot of subreddits that have been said I'll also miss, but for me personally I'll miss the Math based subreddits I used to follow the most. r/badmath was a particular fav. I don't have many "math people" in my friend group so it was nice to have a place to chat about differnet math topics and learn. But hey, I'm sure with time we can expect a lot of those subreddits to find a home elsewhere. Hopefully here. I like it a lot so far!
Best throwaway line in your opinion. (startrek.website)

YSK that kbin.social is now federating, adding hundreds of communities and ~26k more users content

Subreddits you are going to miss?
I'm going to miss AITA. Even if someone makes it a community, it will take a long time to populate.
