Carolepayne, to Battlemaps

Dinner in Alyki tonight. After a week of very strong winds, today’s calm breezes were a delight. Photos were taken five minutes apart.

Same bay just a few meters away. Five minutes later than the first photo. The colours have changed to muted pinks and blues. A table and chairs in foreground with fishing boats and sky and clouds of pinks and blues.

@Carolepayne When you just need a quick shot, nothing wrong with going straight out of camera ("SOOC") with one's phone.

Not really for me, as I think I'm a bit of a control freak as a photographer (that's probably really NOT a good thing LOL), but some SOOC shots can be really amazing, especially if you're just looking for a quick snap and post to socials!
