Seriously, I don’t get how anyone can drink that shit and enjoy it? Any time I’ve tried it just feels I’m swallowing a mouthful of acid. To each their own I guess, but to me I don’t know if I could stomach enough of it to ever get drunk
Even “bitch drinks” like mikes hards are still almost unbearable for me and taste like absolute shut. I’ve tried tons of things, from light to hard, and 100% of them are god awful
If you’re ever in Salt Lake, the Lake Blanche trail is one of the most rewarding hikes to do. There are 3 gorgeous lakes all right next to each other. Blanche of course being the main attraction, but the other 2, Lake Florence and Lake Lillian, are also absolutely stunning. The best part of it, in my opinion, is that even...
Lemmy is actually a few years old now. I couldn’t find exactly when it was started, but it was at least 3 years ago. Although from my understanding it was a fairly barren place until it obviously blew up a month ago
It would be great to have a little community here. What is kind of everyone’s background? I live a bit north of SLC but the salt lake communities are always much more active and large haha
I live on the west side of the valley, and have lived here my entire life. A bit boring out here, I’d like to move east, possibly Milcreek area. So many more things to do there, relative to where I’m at lol.
I love hiking and try to get out every weekend to do it! Just got back from Adams canyon an hour ago even
I can’t believe I had no idea this was even released until today… so ashamed. Just barely got done listening to it for the first time
I think its pretty clear they are veering away from the folk aspect of their music, especially with this album. I don’t recall hearing any folk in it at all actually. Doesn’t mean their new stuff doesn’t kick ass though! This album was absolutely excellent, at least for my first listen. I’ll 100% be listening to this again, likely many times
It's a choice (lemmy.world)
Alder Flats - Golden Ears BC (i.imgur.com)
Camped overnight at Alder Flats, took the West Canyon Trail there and East Canyon Trail back....

Tips for climbing Sundial Peak?
I want to climb Sundial Peak at Lake Blanche sometime this year. I wanted to see if you guys had any tips....
People rappelling down Adams Canyon Waterfall today. Looked fun, albeit cold (lemmy.fmhy.ml)
I heard that lemmy will upvote anything. This is literally just a can of fucking beans (cdn11.bigcommerce.com)
Hi Utah Lemmings! So happy to find some locals here.
It would be great to have a little community here. What is kind of everyone’s background? I live a bit north of SLC but the salt lake communities are always much more active and large haha
Community for Salt Lake City! (lemmy.fmhy.ml)
I decided to go ahead and make a community for my city! Everyone’s welcome, just try to keep on topic!
Favorite hiking spots?
To kickoff the new community, I wanted to ask what everyone’s favorite hiking spots are around SLC...
New Аркона Album showed up Early! (lemmy.world)
I’ve given it about 10 listens, and it is fantastic. It has a similar style to their previous album, Храм.
