I have an afternoon indoor shindig. Getting there involves PT and 20 mins walk. Walk will be in sunlight but then late Arvo when sun is gone. I get cold but warm up quickly when moving.
Have sneakers+jeans (black or blue). Do I go with
singlet and light knit long sleeve top + pashmina/glove/beanie backup
Yay! I got an eSIM from Sim corner last year for Europe. It was pretty straightforward (if you have a phone that can take a dual Sim and an eSIM). Just left mine in place and set up eSIM for data overseas
Is there any contact at the tafe you could talk to? All these requirements are based on “normal” circumstances - Talking it through with a course or enrollment coordinator might help you identify any fast track option or other thing you can do?
Half my team is out with the lurgy. Week got derailed by random urgent requests and bugs and feels chaotic…
Need a strong coffee and a list I think. Flu season/COVID return seems bad and early this year. And the general level of unhingedness and stress is high out there

Kinda just laying here in a stressed out but exhausted state from the week. Had a bite to eat but too tired for much else. Think I am gonna pour a drink and make a list of the work life things that have to happen next week then go to bed. I hate feeling like I left everything in a mess but nothing seemed to get finished this week and I can already feel the wave building up for next . Gah hopefully it’s just grey day blues
The bedroom that only opens to the carport looks like it would be dark. But the layout is ok…so so brown though. I love myself a bit of exposed brick but…man
You are right. Ended up just writing down what I need to do tomorrow morning in case I wake up stressed still. Now listening to the rain. Good luck with the travel plans. I am sure it will come together when you have some rest
Had a very strange dream last night. It was lovely. A big party (I think it was a wedding). All sorts of people were there including some people I haven’t seen for years. And one family member in particular was there and happy and we have a beautiful talk about how she is feeling happy and healthy and everything is wonderful.
Then you wake up and remember that person died nearly a decade ago. I don’t really believe in that sort of heaven but its so nice to think they are at peace and happy (and watching - I certainly still talk to her all the time in my head). But man oh man am I feeling fragile today. Just needed to tell someone before I have a coffee and put my game face on for work. Hug your loved ones peeps.
