@lain ah fair enough! I think that at a 70% review rate, it's more of an AI assisting human workers and not actual automation but it's worth pointing out, I'll edit the post accordingly
@lain I wonder if by that they mean that in 70% of the cases, their AI was wrong, or if they mean it just didn't have enough confidence 70% of the time which caused a human to be tasked to double-check.
is there a way to force fetching all encryption keys (i.e. what I think happens automatically when scrolling up in the history) without doing that manually in #element / some other #matrix client? Or is my understanding of how this works incorrect? :boost_ok:
@domi@linus if it says the sender hasn't sent you the keys then as far as I know you don't have the keys and can't decrypt the message, I don't think scrolling up more would help :x
@domi@linus I think not, "re-requesting the keys" only refers to requesting the keys from your other devices, I don't think the server or other participants will ever resend you the keys in the Matrix protocol
But you could try to export the whole chat, that would make it load every message, hope it works!!!
@domi@linus afaik the keys are sent to every participant when they're generated and never again. That's why when someone fails to get a key you gotta run /discardsession which causes the client to send new keys to every participant
There's a shitty workaround where someone made a python script to filter out keys from your key backup so you can manually share them with others
I awkwardly approached them and gave them sole gay stickers, they were delighted, sadly I moved away pretty quickly, I didn't know how to keep the conversation going >< – Sofia
