Last friday, I have received a takedown request from a company representing Apple, requesting I remove a parody account that is Apple on my instance.
They are claiming that it attempts to "mislead users into believing that the account is sponsored by or affiliated with Apple when that is not the case".
I am convinced that the account was legally in the right as it was very obvious that it is a parody account, but unfortunately I am powerless against a gigacorporation in court as they could just financially ruin me if they feel like it.
Therefore, I would like to warn everyone NOT to create Apple parody accounts using Apple's logo and word mark on your instances, as this would be violating Apple's intellectual property and would waste the time and money of the law firm that actively scours the internet for these types of accounts! :neocat_o_o:

You ever get this thing where you kinda forget the bad emotions you felt at some point and you remember some bad times in a kinda positive light?
I'll never forget that strange period of my life where I was broke but living in a luxury apartment because I got abruptly kicked out by my exes and it was the only viable option.
Back then, it was a lot of despair. I was super broke and could only afford it because @littlefoxone lent me a lot of money. But that kinda faded from my memory and now I just remembered the apartment was very comfy and I had a lot of fun inviting people over.
I guess it's thanks to this apartment that I was able to form the Plushiehouse, the shared polycule flat I live in right now. I also grew a lot through that. And honestly, it was still fun to live in a luxury apartment for some time.
So I guess that's why in retrospect, I feel quite positive about that arc, even though at the time it definitely wasn't the case...
I do still think I made a good deal on that apartment. At that time, it was close to the baseline prices for Airbnbs in Vienna, but it was way way fancier.
And!!! Despite the tight deadline I gave the keys back to the old apartment 1 day before I was expected to! Thanks to @riedler and @katze helping me move stuff through a busy metro line (sorry I should have picked a better time)
