What is Japan hoping to get out of this? It’s essentially an 180 days tourist visa that you need to earn 70k USD for. I don’t know if the few people using this will boost consumption a considerable amount.
Starting to use Homebrew for backporting Linux apps to macOS, further ensuring that when the day comes I must give up macOS forever, except for MS 365 Desktop (because Microsoft), I'll have the same suite of apps on both platforms.
It took a while to install the dependencies, but was pretty similar to installation on Linux. Underlying UNIXiness of Darwin, I would guess.
Haven't used iTunes/Apple Music in years. Audacious has been my choice on linux for a long time. Before that, XMMS with a WinAmp-ish skin... Wonder if this version of Audacious has it too...
I used to ride the ABQ bus a lot. It was just $1 but free as a student, so really nothing has changed. I love the bus aside from the fact that its mostly just a shuttle for homeless people.
It's a pity because you could easily see how nice this could be for regular people.
Shower thought: Is the broccoli haircut Gen Z's version of the mullet? In The U.S. it seems like those are everywhere on guys. I think it looks stupid, but I'm also an old man. I don't imagine that haircut will age well.
