35 today 🎉!

It’s been a great trip around the sun. I have healthy kiddos and a great family. Yesterday, I got to launch an app with my wifey at a coffee shop - nothing better than that!

I am down to writing the final piece of this book series 🥹. What a journey. Took much longer than I thought, but as they say - it will have been worth it in the end. Excited to finish this thing out with some good ol' fashioned tips!

    I had the flu/COVID vaccine double feature all scheduled for today when CVS told me my insurance won’t cover flu from CVS (“try Walgreens”) and also doesn’t have this particular COVID one (Moderna) in their system until Monday. Hoops are here for the jumping.

    Anyone manage to get custom enum parameters to work with AppIntents and widgets? Whenever I try to pass a value in, it seems it wants a generic “IntentParameter" instead of the actual value, which seems contrary to the WWDC videos just passing values. Am I doing something silly?

    I’m back from vacation 🏝️ ✌️

    I had a great time watching my wife become incredibly tan while I enjoyed unending sunburns 🥵 🤷🏻‍♂️ 🤭

    I took no laptops, hacked on nothin’ and it felt great. Now it’s time to get back in the saddle 🧑🏻‍💻🚀

    I recently learned you can customize the previewing shape of a SwiftUI View when presenting a context menu, yay!

    I'm absolutely in love with the whole SF Symbols revamp this year, but I have to say being able to create your own custom components with one click now is icing on the cake. It really helps plug the gap where there are missing variants, and Apple has made the process so unbelievably easy.
