Punaise, je viens d'avoir un flash. Je viens de me revoir ce matin, en train de déplacer le sac poubelle que j'avais posé devant ma porte d'entrée, ouvrir la porte d'entrée le sac à la main et la refermer... les mains vides.

    @mraharrison @actuallyautistic As it has already been said, I relaxed 🤭 Before the diagnostic I was always wondering if I was mad, bad, stupid, lazy, ect...Now I know I'm not ! I start to feel safe with myself.

    So, finally I got my official diagnosis.

    Having someone neutral confirm my suspicion feels validating somehow. Helps to fight the imposter syndrome. It is a relief.

    But it's also overwhelming and confusing. I want to tell everybody and live openly autistic, yet I also fear negative consequences. Then again, I'm tired of masking.

    Complicated feelings that I don't fully understand.

    Autism and Sensory Issues:

    Our microwave oven is a sensory nightmare for me. I always try to stop it before it reaches zero and begins beeping. I get extremely anxious over this.
