It's probably just #ADHD swings, but 2023 has been the year of the #audiobook for me. ​ I can't read. I know how, but I can't make it happen. School might have been different, if I could have read all those books?

I was in the Navy, when the term ADHD was invented. And before I left, they had labeled me thus. Most of my technical background was books. But they weren't story books. Specs, Details, Operation & bits

I got my wife a Hebrew edition of #MobyDick. It's one of my favourites, and I have a very battered copy of my own, but I think reading it in her first language will appeal to her.

Also it's split into two, and I think the original Moby Dick was split into volumes as well, so I do like that.

I think a mistake I've made moving to Mastodon is trying to recreate my Twitter community on here instead of finding new communities.

The last few days I've started following people talking about #GIS, #QGIS, #Esri, #Maps and #FME, basically the stuff I do at work, and I'm now finding it much more engaging on here.
