the other fun thing about classes cancelling due to extreme heat is that my uni specifically is leaving that decision up to the individual professors,

which means students who commute to campus have to play a waiting game. are they commuting today? for all their classes or only for some? if some of their classes are going to opt for online lectures, they best hope they have somewhere to go that has strong enough internet connection, because the campus wifi has been slowed to a crawl.
