having a weird train of thought tonight like. can you make yourself fall in love with a field of study? that's probably a thing, right? loving people is often action, continously and consciously choosing to love despite hardships and differences. I hear people talk about loving math or history or art or whatever so often, as well as people hating them. But I dont think ive ever heard of anyone making the choice to love the the field theyre in.

how do I sell anyone on mythic quest. it's not a particularly interesting show. I wouldn't even know how to describe it. 'it's a workplace comedy' is only true up to a certain point bc it's also so full of existenial and relationship angst but the angst is for out-of-touch rich assholes so like ??? no one in my social groups would be into it. but it's good though. it has to be, because it's 2am and im losing it over the silly fictionyal game developers.

okay im rewatching the first few eps of mythic quest s03 again and it really did lose the charm of the first two seasons. some parts are still good but nothing is giving me real brain worms. im not entirely sure what they're trying to do anymore?
