Zombi Holocaust was shot on the other side of the world ( i think Maluku Islands ) , but it also has a great vibe. The almost sacrifice was great.
I worked for a few years in the Traumathek, an alternative video rental in the aughts - in Cologne, Germany. Right before DVDs started replacing VHS for good.

The video rental is still going, meanwhile renting mostly DVD and opening their space for movie screenings.
My family lives in the neighboring state, Santa Catarina. The whole country is pretty shocked by this. There were also floods here in Germany, in Italy and i read about some more happening around the same time.
In Polyester, a John Waters movie, starring Divine, they handed out scratch & sniff cards. You were supposed to sniff at certain points in the movie. This was done by showing a number corresponding to the number to scratch.
