Isn’t it baffling to think I about how we as a species are able to capture and keep trillions of sub-atomic particles trapped in billions of places and release them to take pictures, send a text, drive somewhere, … Batteries are a really cool invention

@iworx they did “/bin/systemctl <something>” and are sure it works without testing after the 13th commit. Guess ‘whereis’ requires 21 years of experience

I had forgotten (and not written down) the wifi password of an isolated test AP, but my phone still knew it, so I tapped the 'share password' button, took a screenshot of the QR code it generated, and fed that image through a QR code scanner.

@haploc mine are non-existing, but I'm always looking to learn some new stuff ;) I was thinking about a mail module, but that might be a bit too complicated for a complete newb like me. Adding of extra modules seems to happen every now and then so fingers crossed.

OpenTF (the fork of terraform) has been renamed to OpenTofu. Not sure what I think of that name, but it’s better than the old one 🤷‍♂️

@pjaspers besides the Zelda ones animal crossing was nice, pretty chill too. Also played splatoon a lot, but it did get repetitive after some time

Senior Linux IT system administrators with >15 years behind them that don’t know the command to display the available memory of a system; they exist. Not saying learning command by heart is a goal, I really don’t focus on it, but I expect the very basic ones like free, df, mount and possibly dig for senior profiles.
